NURSING TEAM

Our current nursing staff comprise:

Nicola Pole (Practice Nurse), Janeann Mullane (Practice Nurse), Jodie Hill (Practice Nurse), Seval Ak (Practice Nurse), Sharon Clark (Senior Health Care Assistant), Karen Carter (Health Care Assistant), and David White (Phlebotomist / Health Coach).

Nurses lead clinics on smoking cessation; asthma, and diabetes. Nurses are also available by appointment for dressings; ECG's; injections; childhood immunisations; travel advice and vaccinations; ear care and advice on minor health problems and minor injuries. Practice nurses undertake cervical screening (smears).

Our nurses also carry out various clinics for research purposes and studies in the practice, in conjunction with organisations such as the Medical Research Council.
