Chaperone
All patients are entitled to have a chaperone present for any consultation, examination or procedure where they consider one is required or would feel at ease having a chaperone.
If you would like a chaperone present it is helpful if this can be requested at the time of booking the appointment so that the practice can forward plan and that your appointment is not delayed.
In some instances a clinician may also request a chaperone to be present.
